Special Needs & Inclusion Policy
California Fitness Fun & Heartlight Dance believe every child should have the chance to experience the joy of dance. We welcome students of all abilities and do our best to make every dancer feel comfortable, supported and safe.
We kindly ask parents to share any important information about their child's needs before classes begin so we can try to provide the right support. Our teachers and staff will make reasonable accommodations available whenever possible to help each dancer succeed.
To keep classes safe and enjoyable for everyone, we may ask for a parent or support person to assist if a child needs extra help. If a child is consistently disruptive or unsafe, to themselves or others, they may be disenrolled from the class. A refund will be provided for any remaining classes in these cases.
We realize that every student is different, and decisions will be made accordingly on a case-by-case basis. Our goal is to create a caring, safe space where every dancer can learn, grow and have fun!
