Thank you for your interest in having your child perform for our Big Performance at SDSU. PLEASE read this VERY Important Information. Only tickets purchased ahead of time will be eligible for the reduced ticket price. THE BOX OFFICE LINES AT THE EVENT MAY BE LONG, SO PLEASE BUY YOUR TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME!
A. If attending this performance, please note that children will be leaving their seats to follow Heartlight Instructors and Staff right out onto the basketball court to perform at halftime. Parents must remain seated at that time, as well as when children are returning to their seats.
B. The arena is very secure and there will be security in place. ONLY Heartlight Staff and Volunteers will be able to walk on to the basketball court with the children. Your child will be in plain sight the whole time. If you are unable to or are uncomfortable with this important request, this might not be the Performance for your child. We will have at least 1 other performance during the school year.
C. This show (like all Heartlight Performances) is OPTIONAL. Many children are eager to perform, but many are a bit shy/nervous to perform. We do not want to force any children to perform when they are not ready. Many just love dancing with their fellow students in class.
D. All tickets are the same (General Admission) and they are all the same price ($4). TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED ONLINE AHEAD OF TIME TO RECEIVE THE REDUCED TICKET PRICE. Tickets purchased the day of the game will be $6 (instead of $4). Everyone in your group will need a ticket, including Heartlight students (children under 2 years of age are free).
E. Because this performance is not until December, a practice video will be available on this website starting November 16th. (We understand that this performance date is further out, but we schedule dozens of shows in the fall in order to accommodate the over 4,000 students in our program. We appreciate your flexibility!)
F. Basketball games are very fast, and the quarters do not last long. Please make sure you are in your seats when the 2nd quarter is underway.

Children are not required to memorize dances for this performance. Instructors will be dancing in front of students so they can follow along, just like they do in class. However we do have a PRACTICE VIDEO online if your child would like to review before the show!
