Thank you for your interest in having your child perform for our Big Performance at UCSD. PLEASE read this VERY Important Information. After reading, make sure to purchase your tickets using the link in the Seating & Tickets section below. Tickets purchased ahead of time will be eligible for the reduced ticket price.
A. If attending this performance, please note that children will be leaving their seats to follow Heartlight Instructors and Staff right out onto the basketball court to perform at halftime. Parents must remain seated at that time, as well as when children are returning to their seats.
B. The arena is very secure and there will be security in place. ONLY Heartlight Staff and Volunteers will be able to walk on to the basketball court with the children. Your child will be in plain sight the whole time. If you are unable to or are uncomfortable with this important request, this might not be the Performance for your child. We will have at least 1 other performance during the school year.
C. This show (like all Heartlight Performances) is OPTIONAL. Many children are eager to perform, but many are a bit shy/nervous to perform. We do not want to force any children to perform when they are not ready. Many just love dancing with their fellow students in class.
D. This game will have assigned seating . In order to sit with your child's class you must buy seats in the correct section! (SEE SEATING SECTIONS BELOW) NOTE: Everyone in your group over 2 years old (INCLUDING the Heartlight Students) will need a ticket. Ticket link & directions are below.
E. Once the buzzer goes off for Halftime, students sitting in Section 101 will follow their Instructors down the right side of the stairs onto the court. Students sitting in Section 103 will follow their Instructors down the left side of the stairs onto the court. (SEE MAP)
F. Basketball games are very fast, and the quarters do not last long. Please make sure you are in your seats by the time the 2nd quarter is underway.
