UCSD BB Show 11/17

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

Thank you for your interest in having your child perform for our Big Performance at UCSD. PLEASE read this VERY Important Information. After reading, make sure to purchase your tickets using the link in the Seating & Tickets section below. Tickets purchased ahead of time will be eligible for the reduced ticket price.

A. If attending this performance, please note that children will be leaving their seats to follow Heartlight Instructors and Staff right out onto the basketball court to perform at halftime. Parents must remain seated at that time, as well as when children are returning to their seats.

B. The arena is very secure and there will be security in place. ONLY Heartlight Staff and Volunteers will be able to walk on to the basketball court with the children. Your child will be in plain sight the whole time. If you are unable to or are uncomfortable with this important request, this might not be the Performance for your child. We will have at least 1 other performance during the school year.

C. This show (like all Heartlight Performances) is OPTIONAL. Many children are eager to perform, but many are a bit shy/nervous to perform. We do not want to force any children to perform when they are not ready. Many just love dancing with their fellow students in class.

D. You will sit in General Admission within your seating section so you can see your child dance! (SEE SEATING SECTIONS BELOW) NOTE: Everyone in your group over 2 years old (INCLUDING the Heartlight Students) will need a ticket. Again, seating is General Admission (i.e. seating is not assigned) within your chosen Seating Sections. Scroll down to see which section your school will be sitting in on performance day.

E. Basketball games are very fast, and the quarters do not last long. Please make sure you are in your seats when the 2nd quarter is underway.

SEATING & TICKETS

TICKETS SHOULD BE PURCHASED ONLINE AHEAD OF TIME TO RECEIVE THE REDUCED TICKET PRICE. EVERYONE needs a ticket, INCLUDING Heartlight students (children under 2 years of age are free). ALL TICKETS are the same (General Admission), and they are all the same price ($5).

On Game Day, these are the sections that your child's school will sit. You can sit anywhere in YOUR Section.

Sections 101/102: LONGFELLOW, SPRECKELS

Sections 103/104: JONAS SALK

Sections 109/110: AVONDALE, HAWTHORNE

TO PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS:
1. Visit the UC San Diego Ticket Website (You do not need to log in)
2. Enter the code HEARTLIGHT in the box that says “Enter Promo Code”, then press “Go”
3. Select “Find Tickets” for your performance - NOVEMBER 17TH, UCSD vs Fresno State. (Remember - tickets are General Admission so you will not select a seating section when purchasing)
4. Add the number of desired tickets to your cart and proceed with purchase process!

T-SHIRTS

Students can wear any color Heartlight shirt for their performance. If your child does not have a Heartlight T-shirt, you can purchase one before the game. Shirts are $13. If paying cash, please have exact change.

You can also pay for shirts using Venmo- @heartlightdance

Make sure to include:

Your child's name
The school the attend
T-shirt size (child extra small, child small, child medium, child large, adult small, adult medium or adult large)

After paying through Venmo, you can pick up your shirts at the Welcome Table.
